Transport system and car rental

Tourist bus service for touring the destinations is available and there are bus companies that travel throughout the country (two bus lines: Astros and Via Azul). There are also special compartments for those who prefer to travel by train and charter companies operating domestic flights.

Taxi service is good (which charge reasonable rates) in all the leading cities and tourist destinations.

Travelers can also rent cars and microbuses at airports terminals, in hotels desks, rental points located throughout the cities or in any beach resort or nature resort. Valid driver’s license and passport are required. Additionally, in the rental points visitors can buy a country map or a road map to assist themselves while driving though the country.

Assistance by technical support team is guaranteed all around the country. Refueling is possible in almost all provinces at govern owned Gas stations:  CUPET and ORO NEGRO.

All the roads have international traffic signals and vehicles drive on the right side of the road.
